Dedicated Un-Managed Servers

Our un-managed servers are ideal for businesses that would like to handle their own server administration, or want to install and run more complex software that we may not have experience with. All un-managed servers have the following services available to them:

Backups: We provide a dedicated hard drive so you can configure backups of your data to it, so you won't loose any data should you accidentally delete something.
KVMoIP Access: You can rent KVMoIP port time for your server, so that you may login to it as if you were actually sat in front of it, with a keyboard and mouse plugged in.
Problem Resolution: If you have a software issue on your server, then we'll help you diagnose the problem and try and fix it for you, however this would be chargeable at our contracted rate.
Remote Power Cycle: If your server crashes or needs to be powered down, then you can remotely power cycle it or power it down.
Software Patches: We can initially configure automatic updates for you, although it will be your responsibility to make sure they are applied.

In addition to the services provided as standard, we can also provide you with a firewall for your server(s), so that you can filter out traffic before it gets to your server(s), or restrict access to services based to certain network locations. You can even perform traffic shaping, which allows you to control and prioritize different types of network traffic through the firewall and to your server(s).
